Platinum Credit Cards

A life of luxury is what everyone wants, well most people! This is often why Platinum Credit Cards are the choice of people seeking the extravagant life style with all the benefits and perks one could wish for.
I was talking to Sally who has just come back from a Holiday in the Greek Islands, she was talking about how much of a great experience she had and no expense was spared. Sally is not short of money, she comes from a very wealthy family yet apparently at this point in time she was cash poor. So she put the entire holiday on her Platinum Credit Card. I would hate to imagine the credit limit on a card like this… probably $100,000 or more. So I asked Sally what she likes about her Platinum Credit Card as I don’t have one. She said that because the bought the whole holiday on her card, she earned enough points to go on a flight on a smaller holiday, she also said that while on holidays she used the card for travel insurance (which came free) and warranties on shopping she bought over there. She said that she also used the 24/7 concierge service to find out where some of the best restaurants were to eat.
Although I don’t have a platinum credit card, it sure does make me think that if you can afford a credit card like this, or more importantly.. afford to pay it off! its’ not a bad idea.
